Checking your phone capabilities:

Note: Your phone must be capable of composing ringtones (not all phones offer a compose feature). Nokia phone users can use the links provided here to find out if their nokia phone can use the frostZONE's downloadable ringtones in one form or another.

Europe, Africa, Middle East (Select you model, then check for Ringing Tones (fixed + variable) and Ringing Tone Composer).
Asia-Pacific (Select you model, then tick the Ringing Tones (Default + Download) and Ringing Tones Composer boxes).
United States (Find your model then check fo Downloadable ring tones).

Composing a ringtone with a nokia phone is easy. After locating the ringtone on frostZONE this 5 step tutorial should help you compose your own ringtones for free.

Step One: Firstly find your composer in your phone (check your users manual to find your composer).
Step Two: Enter the Nokia Key Press code by hitting the numbers directly as they appear.
Step Three: Check that Nokia Ring Tone appeared in full on your screen.
Step Four: Return to the menu and set the tempo to match the rinetone you are composing.
Final Step: Play the ringtone and if you want to keep it save and name the ringtone in to an empty slot (or over an old ringtone composer slot, make sure you dont want the old ringtone anymore because once you save over it you lose it!)

Parenthesis()= hold appropriately key until a dot appears in the note. Do not try to enter the commas. All other numbers and simbols are entered in exactly as displayed.

RTTTL is a ringtone format created for nokia phones. The RTTTL code can be cut and pasted directly from this website into some software on your computer. Step One: Find an empty slot to compose your ringtone to (or over an old ringtone composer slot, make sure you dont want the old ringtone anymore because once you save over it you lose it).
Step Two: Enter the ericsson ring tone code by hitting the numbers notes as they appear. (It is important to note that ericsson ringtones are not in a keypress format).
Final Step: Play the ringtone and if you want to keep it save and name the ringtone.
